Overview

StillApplying fills job application forms from a profile you build on stillapplying.com. This policy explains exactly what the Chrome extension and website can access and what they do with it.

Your Profile

• You build and edit your profile on stillapplying.com, by hand or from a CV. The extension does not edit it.
• When you are signed in, the extension fetches your profile from stillapplying.com over HTTPS and caches a copy in your browser (chrome.storage.local) so the header shows and Fill works quickly.
• The cached copy stays in your Chrome profile. Removing the extension or clearing its storage removes it. We do not store your profile anywhere else.

Active Tab

• The extension reads the active tab's form fields only when you click Fill this page, using the activeTab permission. It has no access to pages you browse otherwise and injects nothing until you click.
• No page content is stored or logged.
• The extension never submits a form on your behalf.

AI Assistance (Optional Fallback)

Two AI steps run only when needed, and only after you click Fill this page:

• Field matching: when the built-in keyword dictionary cannot place a field, the extension sends the unmatched field descriptors (label text, name/id/placeholder, page URL) and the matching profile values to stillapplying.com.
• Answer drafting: for open-ended questions with no saved answer (for example "Why do you want this role?"), the extension sends the question text, the field's length limit, and your work-history summary to stillapplying.com, which drafts a suggested answer for you to review before submitting.

Both run over HTTPS, are processed via Groq, and are not retained beyond the request. Combined AI use is capped at 15 fills per day and is skipped when nothing needs it. No account beyond your stillapplying.com sign-in is required.

What We Do NOT Do

• No tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies
• No ads
• No selling or sharing of your data with third parties
• No network requests except to stillapplying.com, and only when you open the popup or click a button
• No auto-submitting of applications

Permissions Used

• storage - cache your synced profile locally
• activeTab - read/fill the form on the tab you invoke the extension on
• scripting - inject the fill routine when you click the button
• host access to stillapplying.com - fetch your profile and run optional AI
